Renting a Dumpster in Omaha - Frequently Asked Questions
The rental period is for 7 days. But, we want you to keep the dumpster for as long as you need it so offer a daily rental rate after 7 days. If you complete your project before 7 days, we will gladly pick it up earlier.
Dumpster sizes are measured in cubic yards, which means measuring the length, width and height of the container and multiplying the three numbers together. For example, a bin that is 2 yards long, 2 yards wide and 1 yard tall is 4 cubic yards. Available sizes include 6, 10, 14 and 20 yards.
Of course, the size you'll need for your home project depends on the project and amount of waste. For small remodeling projects, like a bathroom, you'll probably be fine renting a 6 or 10 yard dumpster. Obviously, for larger remodeling projects like kitchens and basements, you'll want a 14 or 20 yard container.
Sometimes, weight and density of the waste will dictate what dumpster size you'll need. If you're undergoing a roofing project, you'll need to rent a 10 yard bin because many bin trucks can't lift a 20 yard dumpster full of shingles.Let this article help you choose the right bin size for your next project.
